In Today’s episode, we’ve got familiar faces on the show, Dennis Bernstein, Julian Mongillo, and from FC Hockey – Dylan Galloway and Justin Froese all talking the 1st round of the NHL Entry Draft.

Trending Now : (1:27)

We talk with Dennis Bernstein – @DennisTFP – All about the Max Domi / Josh Anderson trade between the Habs and Jackets, life, and quarantining in the bubble. Then he tells you that Alexis Lafreniere will put up 60+ points next season with the Rangers, and how the Kings drafted the next Kopitar in Quentin Byfield.

Dennis Bernstein is a Sports Media Executive, and LA Kings sports reporter. You can find him at his podcast “Kings of the Pod“, his website TheFourthPeriod.com and his show on Sirius XM NHL Network “The Hot Stove”.

Guests

Julian Mongillo (18:06) – @JulianMongillo – an LA Kings Writer and Scout for Dobber Prospects.

We chat how the Leafs and GM Kyle Dubas has been drafting plenty of Russians and Europeans and Rodion Amirov is another with the 15th overall pick. As well how teams got some great steals Drysdale for the Ducks at 6th, at 22 Caps taking Lapierre, and the Avs GM Sakic taking Barron at 25th.

Dylan Galloway (28:22) – @dylangalloway_ a Head Scout of Eastern Canada for @FCHockey

Dylan and I talk about how Rossi fell perfectly for the Wild and how he believes he’s cut from the same cloth as Crosby and Bergeron, also that Sanderson was a bit of a shock at 5 and how at 18 Mercer for the Devils and Bourque at 30 for the Stars are steals.

Justin Froese (37:12) – @FroeseFC – The Head of Western Canadian scouting for @fchockey

Justin tells you how different the vibe of the draft was this year before going over some solid picks who also bring sandpaper for Calgary at 24th with Zary, and Neighbours at 26th for the Blues, while Seth Jarvis is a versatile player taken by Carolina at 13.
